Our approach to partnering with Small Women Minority Owned Businesse Enterprises (SWMBE) is the first step of providing fair and nondiscriminatory employment opportunities for subcontractors as well as our in-house workforce. Our SWMBE subcontracting plan has four key elements: Intentional Minority Subcontracting, Mentoring of Minority and Women Owned Firms, Intentional Minority Recruitment, and K-12 STEM Pipeline Development. These programs have allowed us to attain participation rates as high as 65% on our projects.
Our goal is to ensure that the diversity of our project delivery staff mirrors the diversity of the communities in which we live.
