University of Arkansas Kimpel Hall Classroom Block Renovation
University of Arkansas
Located in the heart of a bustling university campus, this project involved asbestos abatement and modernization of existing classrooms, corridors, restrooms and offices, as well as construction of a 7,000 SF student media addition. Exciting new spaces include an open newsroom, UATV on-air studio with control room and master control, and KXUA student radio facilities, along with faculty/staff offices and conference rooms. CDI partnered with Dake Wells Architecture of Springfield, Mo., and MAHG Architecture of Fort Smith, Ark., to renovate and expand this educational building.
