UAMS Arkansas Cancer Research Center

Little Rock, Arkansas
Date Completed: 06/30/2011
Developer/Owner: University of Arkansas for the Medical Sciences

The ACRC Renovation is an eight-phase renovation in the existing Cancer Research (ACRC) and Treatment building.  The renovation is approximately 55,000 square feet and begins the fifth phase in the scheme of the project.  CDI will remove the existing brick veneer on the 1st floor and literally tie-in the two separate structures (Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute [WPRCI] Tower and ACRC).  The space will feature a café, serving area, full kitchen, and large internet café and will be a pleasant area for patients and family to eat, relax and socialize while treatments are going on upstairs.  The terrazzo floor finishes will enable seamless transition from the WPRCI to the ACRC buildings, facilitiating UAMS' mission to provide the best in cancer treatment and patient care.
