This 55,000 SF renovation represented the fifth phase of an eight-phase renovation in the existing Cancer Research and Treatment building. CDI removed the existing brick veneer on the first floor and connected the ACRC building with the Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute Tower. The renovated space, featuring a café, serving area, full kitchen, and large internet café, serves as a pleasant area for patients and family to eat, relax and socialize while treatments are going on upstairs. Terrazzo floor finishes enabled seamless transition between the two buildings, helping UAMS pursue its mission to provide the best in cancer treatment and patient care.
