Located in one of the fastest-growing cities in North Texas, this Frisco project is multi-use development consisting of a 334-suite, 13-story Embassy Suites Hotel with indoor pool, restaurant, internet/coffee bar, and other typical Embassy Suites amenities; a 115,000 SF Conference/Exhibit Center; and a 217,600 SF four-level, 682-car parking deck. The project is located near Dr Pepper Ballpark, home of the Frisco RoughRiders, the Double A affiliate of MLB's Texas Rangers. It is also located near the Frisco Dr Pepper StarCenter, the training headquarters for the NHL Dallas Stars.
The goal was to incorporate a full-service hotel with a conference and exhibit hall and parking garage on a tight site within the constraints of a new urbanist development. The hotel was constructed with structural concrete and features exterior finishes consisting of EIFS, curtain wall and natural stone. Additionally, the hotel was built to LEED specifications (pending certification).
